Did what it said on the label, very friendly

The heating was the boiler in a cupboard with the door open!

The helpfulness of the lady that ran it. The cleanliness. The choice of breakfast foods were excellent. I was only there from 11pm to 8am the following morning, but my stay there was very very comfortable. .

The helpfulness of the proprietor she was lovely.

Newhaven lodge was a comfy little b&b clean tidy with helpful staff , the only down side is that there is no off street parking for more than 1 car but overall a nice little place

No tv reception as a sign in the room says newhaven is a dead spot but the room still had a tv??

The service, charming hosts despite some language difficulties. Immaculately clean bedroom and bathroom, very comfortable .

would have preferred a full breakfast. Continental style was adequate. Web booking suggested full breakfast available

I loved their hospitality and particularly the breakfasts with some traditional Chineese foods, It's highly recomended to stay at that hotel for everybody.

I enjoyed my stay because of the very friendly staff and clean rooms!

The Staff are friendly and the cooked breakfast was very good

The building is old and you have to park in the street round the corner as there is only one onsite parking space.

The rooms were confortable and suitable we rented a family room and it was very convenient the place is quiet

we had full english breakfast there and it was not very nice I would not recommend it Moreover when leaving they wanted to take us an extra 3% on the bill because we were paying by credit card or they wanted us to pay cash we refused and payed finally after a little argument the "right" amount

On a busy main road and said in discription that breakfast was provided.... I was assuming that this would be included in the cost of the room, however after checking the booking receipt prior to going found that it was £6 per person.

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel & definitely will come back for stay when visiting Brighton next time. The room was very tidy and clean, with comfortable bed, soft linens .Up to date very clean bathroom room . Brilliant !

very good welcome on arrival,helpfull staff, good location,very clean crisp beds and clean room,

we were disapointed at haveing to pay an extra £6.00 each on top of what we had all ready payed for the room, £81.00 for the room and and extra £12.00 for our 2 breakfast is a bit steep ,cooked breakfast was very small but you could have any amount of toast, cereal you wanted , cooked breakfast was 1 egg, 1 bacon,1 sausage,1 mushroom, half a tomatoand a table spoon full of beans in a small pot and a tiny square of fried bread , also some noisey person haveing a shower at 01.45 am and the boiler and water was realy noisey,disturbed around 21.30 for a travel cot stored in our room cupboard .
